My mother became ill about nine months ago, and our family was caught completely off guard. With the long-term goal of assisted living in mind, we needed immediate help to fill the gap.

From the moment I met Chris, I felt an immediate sense of relief. I was deeply impressed when he insisted on meeting my mother before assigning a caregiver; he wouldn't move forward until he had included her in the plan of care. He sat with her for about an hour, never rushing, to answer her questions and truly get to know her. He even took the time to pull me aside and tell me what he saw based on his experience.

While a lesser company might just assign a random staff member, Chris prioritized understanding her personality to ensure the right match. He sent us Angie, and in short order, my mother formed a wonderful bond with her.

Hearing stories from friends about flaky caregivers and bad matches made us realize how lucky we were. Because Chris took the time to know us, he hit a home run on the first swing. He understood our long-term objectives and did everything possible to help us get there.

Executive Home Care, with Chris Slack at the helm, has been, and after 3 consecutive months, continues to be very responsive, empathetic, and professional in providing for all the immediate and ongoing home care needs for our aging relative who has advancing dementia. Chris and the people that work with him are outstanding. They genuinely care about the people they help and go above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of. I can't say enough about the 1:1 care we received for my father while he was at the abysmal care facility that is Arden Courts (Warminster).  Chris Slack went above and beyond trying to get coverage for my father.  He even took care of him himself, when he couldn't get coverage. The kind of caring establishment that is Executive Home Care of Newtown seem to be few and far between.  My family and I can't say enough kind words for Chris Slack and his diligence and genuine caring for my father and the unfortunate situation he was in.  I would recommend this place to anyone who needs extra care for their loved one when they are neglected in a facility.  I believe my father would not have survived there, until we were able to relocate him, without the good people of Executive Home Care of Newtown.
